Horsey gift ideas for preschoolers

hi all!
so my best friends kid is 3 and is obsessed with horses! Naturally I want to get him a horsey gift. Initially I thought about getting my spirit stallion of the cinnaramon as a gift but when I think about the plot i wonder if its not age appropriate due to the violence that occurs when spirit gets beaten?

i don’t have kids so…

i got him a rocking horse before…

any gift ideas?

Playmobil horse things are always good, hobby horses are fun. A riding lesson or pony experience. Clothes with horses on them…

there are some cute stuffed horse animals… or horse/pony themed clothes/pjs. there might be some cute books too

Schleich and Safari brand horses are SUPER appropriate for this age group! They’re rubbery vinyl (not hard plastic like Breyer) so they can be thrown around and abused without breaking. They make tons of accessories in the same scale too. My friend’s kid has a horse to represent every horse on their farm (boarders and otherwise) as well as their goats and the family dog, plus cool stuff like a roundbale and a feeder, a round pen, blankets, tack and riders.

our kids had actual horses so it was pretty easy to get horse gifts for them

a kid’s horse grooming kit? … can be used with pups also, may be the cat

or a set of harness… my kids made their own harness
