I just ordered two pairs of Horze full seat silicone tights for summer. Haven’t worn this brand before so wondering if they are sized accurately or run big/small…any feedback on their breeches or tights?
i think the tights I ordered were the Bianca and the Iris.
TIA
The ones I’ve tried were true to size/maybe run a tad large (the ones I’ve tried were all stretchy), and also long. A bit too long for me, at 5’2".
The breeches I have and have tried but not bought seem true to size. I’m 5’2" and 120-125lbs, and I fit in a Horze 28.
Another vote that they are true to size. I bought a pair of Horze fleece tights for winter and I love them. They pilled a little bit on the inside of the thigh but held up overall to regular use. I tried on the Grand Prix silicone full seat one as well and appreciate that I fit the same size in those as I do the tights. I cannot remember if they come in regular and long sizes…I just know that they actually fit me in length which is awesome. I am 5’11” and 130 pounds and wear their 26.
Great to hear good reviews! They had a special for first time purchases off their website of $20 off and free shipping so I gave it a try and am hoping they work. I tried the SP Piper tights and like them but they’re out of a lot of sizes so it prompted me to give the Horze ones a try.
I love my Horze breeches. Cheap, relatively comfortable, true to size, and come in a 22 for my 5’1" 100 lb self!
I bought the Grand Prix full seat breeches in a 26 (my normal size). While they fit reasonably well and I love them, I should have sized down to a 24. I would say those run large.
I don’t know how the tights run. If you read the reviews on the site, you will see comments on sizing. I didn’t read those before purchasing my breeches.
The SP Hadley riding tights are even better last sale they had I bought 2 pairs of the pipers and 1 of the Hadley and they blew me away!
I love the Horze brand tights. I have long legs and they are plenty long enough without a super high waistband. I’ve been wearing out several winter style warmer ones… still good because I ride in the mornings and they keep my old joints warm.
Are they (either the Horze brand or the Smartpak Pipers/Hadleys) relatively durable? I’m a working student so my breeches are getting many hours of use both in and out of the saddle, but as I’m also a college student, my budget for breeches is tight.
I recently tried a pair of Horze breeches and they fit very strangely, I had to return them unfortunately. I safely wear a 28 in most brands but ordered the 26 Horze ones as I’d heard to size down. The waistband on them gapped and they were uncomfortably tight in the thigh and calf. I also wanted something a bit on the higher-waisted side, but these were not
Nice material though!
I’m 5’8, 135lbs and curvier/more muscular on the bottom.
If the Horze ones don’t work I’ll check the Hadleys out! A friend recommended those as well.
I love them but they do run just a little big! I am 5’5", 110 lbs and typically wear a 26 in TS but these are quite baggy.
