So, how thin/revealing is the fabric? How sticky are they, can you move in the saddle or is one stuck in place? Thanks for the scoop!
The fabric is not thin at all. Nice and substantial, but very cool. The tights have tiny, shiny carrots in a full seat distribution. They are not exactly sticky, but give you some grip in the saddle. I could move in the saddle, didn’t feel stuck or locked in, but also felt like I had some grip. They were awesome. Like riding in comfy, cool pajama pants:)
Do go up a size, though. I wear a size 12 in pants and I bought the XL tights (which, seriously, almost killed me but they feel so good that I decided to leave my vanity behind). Years ago I bought Kerrits tights and didn’t go up a size and I found them very uncomfortable and muffin-top inducing. Vanity…
Rackers tights. Different fabric, last forever (at least compared to other tights I tried) definitely not see-through and you gonna love the pocket for the phone. They are having sale now.

Ok, ordered my first pair of breeches ever, from the Rackers website. If these make me cringe too much, I will find a long shirt. I hate buying clothes without trying them on.
Do any of these hot weather breeches seem to be designed with a smaller waist for the pear (curvy) rather than the apple figure? I have several Irideon Issential tights which fit perfectly and are light, but are not designed to be cooling.
Snowdenfarm, I wish I could answer your question, but at the age of 57 my waist is pretty much MIA. However, the Kerritts are tights, so pretty form fitting (without being muffin top inducing, a major plus). I would think the tights would conform to your shape, whatever it happens to be.
Hahaha, stb!!
I am a HUGE fan of Kerrits as well. I have the Ice-Fil tights and love them, especially with the long pockets down each leg. I’d be a little happier if they had a higher rise, but that is the only thing I would change.
I also have long-sleeve Ice-Fil riding shirts … the material on those is not quite as thick, so they have picked up a couple of snags, but the snags get no worse once they happen.
ETA: the shirts are long enough that they cover any, um, imperfections revealed by the tights.
So how are these supposed to fit? I bought the Lite pair from Rackers in a small, which was what I needed according to the chart. They have two snaps, and the ends of the waist require some stretching to get them together and snapped. They fit quite tightly through waist and hips, not uncomfortable, but they do induce a little muffin top. They fit great everywhere else. Do I get a medium, squeeze into these, lose a few pounds? I really like them otherwise.
