I’m heading to WEG Thursday am. We are staying in one of the Hotels w/ shuttle service and I was wondering how the shuttles are working out? As I understand it the cost is $15 per round trip, you buy the shuttle tickets at your hotel, and the shuttles drop off at the main entrance to the park. Has everyone been able to take the shuttle from your hotel to the park in the am without having to wait in line forever? Mainly I’m worried about XC day. Driving would be more cost effective, but I hear there is quite a hike from parking areas to KHP. What does everyone think? Thanks in advance!

Also, does anyone know if your hotel does NOT have a shuttle, but one nearby does, can you buy a shuttle ticket from that other hotel? I’m staying in Frankfort, and my hotel does not have the shuttle, but others in Frankfort do. Any ideas? Thanks.
I had zero problems parking yesterday and did not find the walk to be excessive.

The only hotel in Frankfort that sells them is the Fairfield Inn.You can catch the bus there, I’m sorry, but I don’t know which other hotels are on that route.

OP - just to make sure you aren’t at a hotel that doesn’t sell wristbands, the hotels listed below are the only ones according to the WEG site that are selling wristbands.
Wristbands may be purchased during the Games at the following locations:
Route 1 – Holiday Inn Lexington North
Route 2 – Hyatt Place at Hamburg
Route 3 – Days Inn and Suites Lexington
Route 4 – Hyatt Regency
Route 5 – University Inn
Route 6 – Hilton Suites at Lexington Green
Route 7 – Fairfield Inn Frankfort
Route 8 – Hampton Inn Georgetown
Route 9 – Fairfield Inn Georgetown
