hotels in Wellington

I have a question for the Wellington experts. I would like to show in Wellington at the end of July and tried to book a room today. But the Royal Inn was sold out :frowning: So are there any other affordable options??? I guess next time I need to book the hotel very early…
Thank you so much!!

once while horse shopping I stayed at the Southern Palms Bed and breakfast. It was nice, don’t remember the price. Any other affordables are going to be around the turnpike, 15-20 minutes away or so. Wellington is not well endowed w/ hotel/motel options…

Thank you 2tempe. yes it seems like it. I guess I will go for the area around the turnpike… I looked on expedia and found some choices

I always stay at the Hampton Inn Lake Worth.

Try AirBnB.

I stayed here before moving close enough not to need hotels. It’s an easy drive to Palm Beach Equine. Way back before Global was built, the Hampton Inn Wellington had comparable summer rates to the Lake Worth hotel. It would triple in price for season, but we stayed there in the summer for $89!

I would definitely check reviews if you are trying to save money and stay farther away for a less expensive hotel. There are a few chain brands that have become drug dealer hangouts, but this is usually noted on Trip Advisor. Not a fun way to spend a horse show, or any vacation!

The Hampton Inn Next to the Turnpike in West Palm Beach is located on Okeechobee Blvd Right next to the Turnpike. Its maybe 15-20 Minutes into Wellington from there. Or hop onto the TurnPike and get off on Southern Blvd. and that will cut some time off the travel.

Its a very clean hotel, rooms for a suite are around 130-150 per night. They have fresh baked cookies every day too!

This is where I always stay when going to Wellington (Hampton Inn Vista Parkway). Easy to get to either Global or Loxahatchee (or anywhere else you need to go), and plenty of places to get food nearby. Always cheaper than the Hampton right in Wellington.
