Given the nature of social media, I would have to weight the alternatives:
- PM the person privately and express my experience factually. Done.
- Post your suggestions of better local trainers and why you support them (Janie’s barn is a happy place, the horses get impeccable care and she’s got a well earned reputation for being fair and honest).
If you do the first, you are taking a risk. If you do the 2nd and skip the 1st, there is no risk at all.
