How do I stop getting nofications of new posts on a thread I started?

I started a thread (Mass shooting in Lewiston, Maine) and then the topic turned out to be personal to me and has gone off in different directions.

I would like to stop getting notifications on it. Have not read the last 634 posts.

Can’t figure out the way to do this.

Click on the bell icon at the end of the thread, and then you can select what kind of notifications you’d like to receive (or not) from that thread.
