You decide who sees the ad more or less. You are able to pick the geographical location and I believe you can choose people who have liked certain types of pages before.

I got it changed, now I need to figure out how to make it look like a link not a URL. I did it so long ago I can’t remember how I did it!

It works now…I need to make mine a link not a url too 
Things have changed with FB a great deal since this thread started. You can do an ad to get Likes, but you won’t see organic reach from subsequent posts as you used to. FB changed the algorithms so you must pay to “boost” a post to reach all of your fans. Engaging your fans is why you pay to gain likes, but it no longer works that way.
If anyone was unable to figure out how to make a link in your signature instructions are:
type the words you want to be clickable… highlight them… then hit the URL button… enter the link you want the click to take users to… hit enter

Youre welcome… took me a bit to figure it out as regular HTML codes dont work… but I figured it out and thought I would share!
What I don’t understand are the unlikes. I only get one or two every so often, but it seems very odd that someone would unlike a page. I always review my posts from that time period to see if I can understand why they would cause an unlike, but so far I’m flummoxed.
