how does a thread totally disapear off the board

how does a thread totally disapear off the board, not talking about mine but another I viewed last night and now it is gone like it never was there

It might have been removed because it was irrelevant, a pre-existing recent thread with the same or similar topic of discussion existed, or it was something that had gotten locked by the mods for whatever reason.

Sometimes, if a thread is a “problem”, the mods will remove it and work on it and then bring it back, edited. Sometimes it just falls to the next page or even the third.

Or sometimes a moderator will move a post to a more appropriate forum, like say a thread about EPM in the h/j forum will be moved to the health board.

for instance.

Your post asking for a free ride for a rescue horse was closed by a moderator who left an explanation. Lots of your threads don’t make sense or are conflicting so that might be why you’ve had a few deleted.

OMG please stop harrassing me I was asking about another persons thread, it totally disapeared and I wondered how, are you trying to get every thread i open closed as I am not mentioning my closed thread at all, I am making that totally clear

Hmmmmmm…I’m wondering if OP is asking about her other free ride thread that was in the Dressage Forum, but is no longer there?

Does your keyboard not have a period “.” button? Your posts are very confusing. Maybe if you would use proper punctuation, they would get more respect and be more reader-friendly.

Just my $.02.

Mods make some posts disappear when they take an unexpected turn for the worse and not everybody will have seen the wreck-it can happen pretty quick.

I didn’t see any of the threads discussed here but had one of my own go poof when a couple of others started a fight that had nothing to do with it. Whole thing just vanished. I was clueless and missed the whole wreck-had to ask the mods why. Suggest van just ask the mods.

And if you don’t like somebody’s posts or think they are nuts? Don’t read 'em.

Or if a thread can be construed as advertising, bye bye it goes.

I smell a troll. A very young troll.

Moony,

Unfortunately, she is no troll.

You mean she is a real live loony?

yes

It’s sad. I’ve always thought of trolls in some abstract form like the weirdo that lives in their mother’s basement, who posts on the internet day and night. Recently I’ve found they live amongst us.

Ok so the last few posts here could perhaps be a reason to close this one out?

What a novel concept…

I am not sure if the OP or whoever is a troll, but if they are why continue to feed it? Maybe instead of being annoying, one or even all of you should TRY acting like adults.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

There are several other threads and references explaining how we handle deleting threads, problem threads, old threads, etc. Please do a search of the FAQ or Help sections. For example, another one of your threads in which you engage in an accusation-filled argument about a personal business deal gone wrong, has been moved off of the open forum so we can evaluate the contents.

This thread is now being moved to the help forum.

Thanks,
