Okay, so one Equestrian Event is over. I was absolutely amazed at the quality of video from NBC LIVE EXTRA both the App’s for my ipad & iphone as well as online on my MAC. It all came thru so crystal clear. The Commentary during the EVENTING DRESSAGE was non-existant but they seem to have that glitch worked out because it was also terrific for the Cross Country & Stadium. The videography was utterly AMAZING !!! I am so stoked to watch the rest of it now. The Camera angles and displays were just incomparable to any Games or WEG I’ve seen in the past. Even watching it over & over again in “replay” mode was brilliant. So now the Dressage starts tomorrow and I only have one complaint. I can’t seem to find the App that’ll Muck My Stalls & Work and Feed my HORSES !! So I can stay in and watch it all live !!!
In general, I too am tickled with the LiveApp, as it meant I could sneak in watching at work on my iPad. The camera work WAS super!
I did not have any commentary with the Showjumping yesterday, though, so don’t know how you did. I was a bit disappointed as I liked the XC guy very much.
I guess, technically, it wasn’t commentary. But we did have the on site announcer. It was just like being there!
