Thank you Zuzu, I am feeling fine. Colton is a challenge, quite the opposite from Bentley who was very independent. Colton is needy, has periods of zoomies in the house. His latest feat is running from the mudroom through the family room jumping over the coffee table and landing on the sofa.

There are toys strewn all over the house, ball, konk, all kinds of chewy hides etc. but he still thinks blankets, furniture and my feet are more interesting. Potty training is progressing but his few accidents are always in the mudroom. Lately he thinks the boot tray works like a litter box.

Never a dull moment. Had a trip to Emergency late Saturday. My dish cloth was missing and since I had an expensive occurrence with a previous dog I did not want to wait. Vomiting was induced at the clinic but no dish cloth. Found it as soon as we got back home. The good part was that I managed to drive at top speed into town with lots of traffic, busy parking lot etc. getting him into the car (I used a body harness to lift him, he already weights over 50 lbs) without catastrophy and he even jumped into the car by himself on the return trip…

A very expensive lesson but the good news is that the breeder had him insured for six weeks after the purchase and I will be partially reimbursed.

School starts Tuesday May 2.
