I’m running a bit behind this spring. I called usef about getting a passport for the new horse and they said now problem since they are doing about a 3 day turn around right now. But, the person I asked didn’t know about the timing for horse (new) and rider (not new) registrations to go through. It’s been 4 day (I know, not long), but I think in my mind I was thinking it was an instant process like doing your usef membership online.
And I know, this problem is totally my bad!!
Last year I had to keep calling to find out the status. I never did get any notification.

When I paid the FEI horse registration for this year, the notice came in the form of my cancelled check.
You can also check the FEI website. They do keep a database with all riders and horses.
Good News! I received an email from USEF this morning stating my registration is complete!
