Specifically in horses with kissing spine?
Back story: my horse was recently diagnosed with KS, two spots right next to each other, mid T-spine (don’t know exact vertebrae numbers.) His symptoms were fairly mild compared to what I’ve read online: stiff, slightly hollow, cross cantering behind at times, wanting to be quick. We’re honestly not sure if those are even related to the KS as his SI was also sore (which is a known issue for him.
We injected those spots on his back, his SI, and also gave him Osphos. This was Tuesday 1/19, so one week ago. If anyone else has done Osphos for KS, how long did it take for you to notice a difference? A week isn’t much time so I’m not expecting him to be instantly 100% better, and he’s supposed to do light lunging this week to get him stretching and moving. I’m to start riding him next week.
Any input is much appreciated, thanks!
