SSR-
It’s hard, especially with LSP being so intense…I think we have the same LSP prof.
It makes for LONG days, and weekends with no time for horses.
Darlin’, that’s a LOT of W’s!!! Where exactly is Warwickshire? I LOVE England! I met some WWII vets in Normandy, France, last June 6th. It was a life changing experience for me. They were all British since I was on Gold Beach, aka Arronmanches. I am a terrible Anglophile. One dear 84 y/o vet has invited me to come stay with him in Cornwall any time I wish. He actually went out and found a livery down the road from him so that I could ride during my visit…God bless the veterans!
As a junior I hunted under a relationship between our pony club and local hunt - Golden’s Bridge Hounds in North Salem, NY.
In recent years I’ve been a guest at Rombout Hunt and will be a guest at Old Chatham and Millbrook this season.
Since I recently moved back to my hometown, I’d like to rejoin GBH.

I now also love taking lots of hunting trips to visit other hunts!! We have wonderful hunting, but it’s fun to see how everyone else does it and thier country. So far I’ve visited twenty five and hope to visit Tennessee Valley, Tryon, the Aiken area and Misty Morning later this year!! I just got home from Piedmont and Green Springs. Whew!

I’m not as active as I’d like, due to work/show schedules and the drive time, and also because Mr. GAFCT hunts once or twice a week and someone has to run the farm!
If you’re at the New England Hunter Trials tomorrow, give the Mr. (Brian Hogan) a wave on his matching grays
I’ll play (having just wandered through from the Eventing Forum)

Hey GoneAwayFarm! I believe I met your husband at Tanheath’s hunt last Sunday. Nice guy and chatted w/ us about the various hunts, tried to convince us to go to the all NE meet next weekend.(uh don’t think I’m quite ready for that thanks )
Beginner guest at Tanheath Hunt, CT. Plan to hunt regularly and join in the future
Hey, Lookin’! Yep, that was the Mr.; he mentioned that he’d met a couple of CT newcomers and tried to lure them to the joint meet
Welcome to the New England hunt scene- you can’t go wrong with Tanheath! [Can’t go wrong with any of them, really, in my completely humble, hunter princess, only-makes-it-to-a-dozen-or-so-hunts-per-year opinion…]
Hunter without a hunt. Love reading this board to see who and what are out there. In my ideal world I’d go out on the weekends with a pack of hounds all by myself. It’s just where to put them (my landlord might have a problem :).
Have found this and some European chats are great sources of information and history. My life in transition and I can’t go back, I am pleased to be here.
