How tight should my breeches be...

Personally, I go for the snug as opposed to the loose fit - but I know others that are the complete opposite. I always feel like the loose ones just end up looking baggy after I finish riding, making me feel just that much more grungy. Bottom line … whatever you prefer is going to be just fine.

Thanks so much for the love for our new Megan breech! We love that they make you look and feel good. To continue on your comments about “Spanx”, the fabric we use has a lot of lycra (29%!) and provides comfortable yet strong compression that really supports your major muscle groups and keeps you stronger for longer in the saddle. And slims and smooths you to a very flattering effect. GOOD RIDING!

I’ve found that when breeches are too tight they give the wearer the dreaded camel toe. As long as you don’t have any of that going on I’d say they’re fine.
I feel like there’s more to what causes camel toe than just tightness, like rise and the cut overall. But tightness is a factor!

Just be honest with yourself. If the smaller size shows cellulite- size up. If you’re a tiny thing in a 26 or 28… size down if it makes you comfortable.

And above all- if one size will make you ride worse get the other. I can’t stand breeches that wrinkle over, so I tend to go tighter.
This, just be honest with onesel.
