I’ve gotten some mixed answers about this over the years. Everyone just says not too tight not too loose… but is there like a more concrete measurement to go by? Like is two fingers under a polo good and one for a standing wrap (just an example)?
I can show you, but trying to tell you over the internet is just begging for a bandage bow.
Pretty much!
Standings should “thump” like a ripe melon when they’re just right. But impossible to really post the “right” noise here  Too tight and they kind of ping and too loose they just squish.
Can someone at your barn show you?
Agreed - not something that can be adequately Horsesplained in words.
Have someone you know does a good job wrapping show you so you can feel & see for yourself.
For me 2 fingers snugged under a polo feels right, 1 finger for standing bandages.
Using a No-Bow quilt can help, but only if you make sure no wrinkles adding pressure.
