How to clean Legacy boots?

I ride English but I think more Western people use Legacy SMB boots than English. These are the specific kind:

I bought them in white and I’ve tried cleaning them in the washer by turning them inside out and Velcroing them, but it just doesn’t really do much. Any tips?

You can scrub them in the sink with a little bit of soap, or I usually just use a hose with a strong sprayer nozzle and work up and down the boot to get all the ground-in dirt off.

I have never been able to get the white ones as white as they were brand new, but they’re presentable.

I don’t wash my PC SMBs in the washing machine, but I will soak/rinse them in the washer to get the dirt off. But most times I use my little pressure washer to clean them off - it works GREAT. Of course, I also do not have white ones; have no idea how to get them “white” again.
