How to delete private messages in Inbox and Sent?

I have a notice that my private message storage is 90% full, but I don’t know how to delete the messages.

I found a place to “empty the Inbox” but I don’t want to delete all of them. Is there a way to delete just some?

Hi there ~

When you have your inbox or sent items open, you can click the boxes on the right side of the page of the messages you’d like to delete, then scroll down to the bottom of the list and select delete messages from the drop-down menu.
