How to find a track record...

I’ve been googling without much luck – hoping someone here can help me.

I’m looking for the track record for 4f at Delta Downs. Time + who set it.

How can I find it?

http://www.equibase.com/static/chart/pdf/index.html?SAP=LN

What I usually would do, is find a 4f race result, there it would post the record, date, and the horse that held it. Then I could find the exact race chart by looking up the horse and his record.

440 yds, Hesa Passen Magic, 21.40, July 17/05

TB, not QH. And 440 yds is 1/4 mile or 2 furlongs. 4f is 880 yds or half a mile.

But thanks so much for looking!

Again, great info, but apparently they only list the tracks that are actively running right now.

Maybe I should just call the track…one of the few times the Net has let me down…

my brain was not working this am…it’s too hot and humid here!

There’s a couple numbers on that list needing an update, however, the 4f is correct.

Here’s Rock Afire record race chart from 12/10/1994:

Look at the WPS pool…

Could have been the world’s biggest bridgejumper:eek:…but I didn’t see any ‘2.10’.

Thanks Slewdledo! Can I use this system to find the complete racing record of a TB long dead?

His name was Ed’s Cajon Power (yes, the owner misspelled his name, so that became “official”), and I think he was foaled in '73. He ran in the 1975 Jean LaFitte Furturity at Delta Downs (won & set a new track record).

Appreciate your help!

The Daily Racing Form should have it. DRF.com
Look around on the site for Delta Downs and it should have all of the stats for all distances.

I went to the DD site, but didn’t find any race records.

I’ll try the DRF site.

Does this have what you want?

Kyz,
I got my boys’ records eons ago and still have the paperwork-- jockeyclub.com – I think I paid $20 bucks or so to get more specifics but the free on-line stuff was a good start.
Fun to get an old TBs race results!
