I have aquired a WB gelding that was imported from Poland - or so I was told. Is there anyway to identify him from his brand? I understand that one number is the stud farm and the other his foal number but where would I get that information?

The number you can see on his right side behind and below his withers is the number of the stud farm where he was bred.
The number on his left side is the foal number from this stud farm.

My exposure to polish warmbloods:
In the seventies and beyond, truckloads of them passed through Germany on the way to France - for obvious reasons.
The barn my sister took lessons at frequently recieved polish horses for resale, reasonable prized mounts for the hobbiist.
I have not heard of any farms or breeders, so I guess - since polish is not one of the most spoke languageses in this world - try via the department of agricultur in Poland.

Got him with no papers (funny how so many of the older guy’s papers disappear). I have often wondered about him and would also be interested in finding out if there was a way to learn his early history.

Hmm, I don’t know if it makes a difference that my guy is in his very late 20’s. The number on his left side is simply 6. His right side is either G4 or 64.
