A friend is interested in riding with a trainer in our area, but I heard thru the grape vine he was suspended on a drug issue. I’ve noticed he’s not been at shows & his clients are showing under different trainers at different shows. I’m assuming the drug rumor is true. How do I look up the info on usef to confirm the suspension?
I believe you have to have a USEF membership to access the search function.
yes she can search on USEF.org, hover the search feature and suspensions is a default feature. Membership required which, for this situation, is wrong-thinking. reference current safe sport topic. Why must one be a member in order to do due diligence on a potential bar/trainer/staff hire etc.

you can see the list if not a member, i just did
at the site linked above… from the tool bar select “Safe Sport”… a drop down list appears then select “Safe Sport Sanctioned List” (it is at the top of the right hand column)
But several of the above posters have already stated a parent needs to not rely upon others
but we are talking about more than Safe Sport. A trainer suspended for drugs or other competition abuse is behind a membership wall. Without access you are only helped by the words of others, you cannot do due diligence for yourself.

You find someone with a USEF membership and ask them to do it. I’d be happy to do it. Shoot me a PM and I promise to keep my mouth shut and delete the conversation after. Or I managed to download it as an Excel file and can send it to you. It’s above my pay grade to attach it directly here or to convert it to a pdf on my phone.
