How to fit an Ameri-Flex Trail Saddle?

A friend has one of these on trial and asked me to help her evaluate it. I have never heard of or seen one of these before, it looks like it’s built on panels similar to the Reactor Panel saddles?

Horse is an 11yo OTTB with high withers. Saddle definitely clears withers. Friend reports that after first ride there was "Definitely more sweat under the front bolt [don’t know what she meant by that, sorry!] than there was towards the back. So friend is concerned the saddle does not fit appropriately.

Any advice on how to evaluate it? I was just going to tack the horse up, girth the saddle down, and stick him in the round pen and watch to see if it moves or anything, and then ride in it and check the sweat marks again.

Anyone have experience with these Ameri Flex saddles or opinions on the brand? I am NOT a trail rider so I literally don’t know anything about them.

Have you been to the mfgr web site? These folks are realy great people and just contacting them would probably answer all your questions. they also have a great web site with great stuff about saddle fitting.

LOL I thought I read that somewhere before,… didn’t someone find loose wire connectors and chicken bones in their box.
