My rain sheet has a small rip in it. I can do basic sewing and I am pretty handy. How do you repair the sheet? Is there a website that will show me how? How is it water proofed again?
If it is tiny enough then I use the blanket repair glue. http://www.statelinetack.com/item/horseware-stormsure-rip-repair-sealant-glue/E004822/?srccode=GPSLT&gclid=COfH093xxs8CFYcfhgodc2gK6w&kwid=productads-adid^53091238428-device^c-plaid^109336395228-sku^257039-adType^PLA
If it is bigger than that I zigzag stitch. If it is bigger than that I take a piece of fabric from an old sheet/blanket sew it in a square, then sew the square on the patch. You could use the blanket glue over the zigzag stitch to seal.
Anything really big or complex gets sent out to the blanket lady to wash and repair.
I have a good sewing machine that will handle many horse sheets and horse blankets.
I might need to buy some of this to have around. It looks useful.
