I love the Equestrian Stockholm sets, but the cut of the bonnet is driving me nuts. My horse has a cob sized head. Pony bonnet is too small, horse size fits him well except that the front of the bonnet is long on his face and flaps when we’re riding. He doesn’t seem to care, but it annoys me.
Any tips for securing it so it doesn’t flap all over the place? Thinking about putting a thin piece of string from the bottom of the bonnet to the noseband, but not sure how exactly to do that.
You’re looking for a tie down bonnet. Here’s a link, there’s plenty of more affordable ones but this is the first thing that popped up with a picture of it on the horse.
Tuck the extra back up under the browband?
Sew a coin into the backing or a weight, like the ones in the tails of a shadbelly.
Yep. Came here to say the same… a coin… or a magnet. You can just buy a shower liner and cut it open and get a magnet out of it.
