How to watch WEG?

I also found a French link but again, geo restrictions…

Has anyone successfully downloaded a proxy… Hola.org is driving me bananas… every time I try GB or France, it brings me back to Canada and if I enter the site name, it tells me to delete the old Hola and download the new one…which I.have.done.a.number of times.

I would like to see other programmes in France beside FEI TV.
thanks

Hola doesn’t seem to work for me. I don’t know if it’s hughesnet or a proxy problem, but when I change to a server outside the US, the websites in that country still say I’m blocked from access.

Pony4Me - where did you see that it will be rebroadcasted? I subscribed yesterday; watched the Opening Ceremony (WOWSA!) and now want my Mom to see it. Checked out the FEI TV site this morning, but didn’t see anything about a rebroadcast. Thanks![/QUOTE]

StreamHorseTV had a link to the FEI TV broadcast schedule. There’s a tab for Live and a tab for Replays. When I checked it just now, the time was different. I think it’s saying that it’s already archived for subscribers. Here’s the link. See if you can watch it. http://www.feitv.org/live

ETA: I just tried the link and it took me to the “Live” tab, so you have to click on the “Replay” tab to see what’s available for rebroadcast. FEI TV is not the most user friendly site for me. I hope your mom gets to see the rebroadcast.

I found it listed under “Replay” but when I hit Watch Now, it said the live event would start shortly. And then never did. Maybe in a few days it will be shown. Thanks for your help!

You’re right. I just tried it, after logging in as a subscriber. Nothing. Will try back later. Sorry. All of this is making me really appreciate USEF Network.

Lord Helpus, you may be in luck. That happened to me. I wrote them a nice but a WTF letter, and the next day got 20% off for a year! I was planning to get it for a month and see how much I liked it, but the year for 63$? You bet I jumped at that! Write a letter and cross your fingers!!

Try clearing your cache and history and everything, or use a different browser.

I opened horseandhound.tv on firefox, it gave me the error that its only available in the UK and Ireland. I downloaded Hola. I opened horse & hound again and same error message.

So I opened Chrome, downloaded Hola immediately, THEN went to horse & hound, and it recognizes me as in the UK.

I haven’t signed up for it, but the Hola side seems to be working.

Use Chrome browser (clear all previous cookies + browsing data etc.)
Install Hola extension (link above)

After the first time you visit a foreign website it remembers.

apparently Hughesnet is already a proxy and may block other proxies. I’m talking to their customer service to see how to make Hola work.

anyone else here a Hughesnet sucker?

Viney - did you try Chrome with the Hola extension. I’ve been watching the Beeb iplayer with it today, and it’s very easy. You can have 4 pages going in 4 countries at once. I can put it on my tablet too.

Please take in consideration that Hola is slowing down your computer because your network is used as a peer for others. Read this article : http://lifehacker.com/5983904/the-always-up-to-date-guide-to-streaming-blocked-content-overseas

So, I followed your instructions, Equibrit, and tried to watch the opening ceremonies but it showed me all of about 30 seconds and then said I needed to be a premium member to watch more. Does anyone know if that’s just for the archived stuff, or for livestream as well?

It’s Hughes Net. I asked on their forums and was told that Hughes Net forces users through a transparent proxy, so other proxies won’t work.

I did download Chrome and the Hola add-on but that diidn’t work either. so then I went to some forums to ask.

I’m so frustrated that I may go to AT&T and buy a wireless modem from them and a data plan, although the cost is outrageous. Hughes Net has gotten really slow lately and is far more likely to go out whenever it rains. But I have no other choices–wireless or satellite. I tried wireless before but the service provider wouldn’t let me into many European websites. Otherwise it was quite adequate.

What are you able to watch using this method? All the live events?

Edit: Followed instructions and I just get a blank page.

Edit: Finally got it to work on a PC but like a previous poster it says I need to be a premium member to view.

and where would the savings be from getting the one month subscription? I have it and I am done trying to get proxies or Hola to work… too time consuming and then something screws up, slows down.

Has anyone been able to watch the opening ceremony from the FEI TV app? If there is search function, apparently I cannot find it. I see the link to the ceremonies on the website but have to use the app since I only have an iPad to use at the moment.

there wouldn’t be any savings. It’s just that I’m so damned frustrated. The answer, of course, is a full year of FEI TV.

Could not watch the replay of opening ceremonies on my iPad. However, I pulled it up easily on my desktop. Sorry, I know that isn’t very useful for you.
