HSUS co-sponsor of Youth Equestrian Event

The Humane Society of the US will be co-sponsoring the Youth Equestrian Event in Louisville KY on January 16. The HSUS is NOT a friend to equine sports, especially fox-hunting.

Please contact the USEF to protest this alliance. Contact Jennifer Mellencamp at the USEF by email at jmellenkamp@usef.org or call the USEF to lodge your displeasure. Also consider writing the president of USEF David O’Connor (doconnor@usef.org) and the CEO John Long (jlong@usef.org)

I wouldn’t bother the lower level lackey about it; the staff have enough on their plates and they’re not the ones making these decisions. This is David’s thing, HSUS were also invited to the USEF’s eventing safety summit. Scary.
