https://racehorsemeds.com Has anyone used them?

https://racehorsemeds.com Looks like better prices on a lot of things. A friend at the track said she has seen the brand but hadn’t used them

That’s gotta be as scary a site with injectable drugs as I have ever seen. And the use of the word “explosion” in a product line…frightening.

Wouldn’t touch anything from them with a 100’ pole.

I think horseprerace is pretty close in price and many members have used them without problem.

I don’t have an opinion one way or another on this. Just believe a close working relationship with a vet is critical even though buying meds through them is more expensive. I recalled this from a year or so back.

I have used this site, they are a good and honest company. Products are professional and legit. Paulick Report link someone posted confirms this. Obv some are against racing supplements and thats understandable but the products this site offers are top quality in my humble experience.

From the Paulick report link: “Further, the letter to Jones stated that the FDA had obtained samples of the company’s Omeprazole Oral Paste, which is designed to alleviate symptoms associated with gastric ulcers. The amount of the active ingredient (omeprazole) detected in the samples was less than that claimed on the product’s label–just 68.1 percent of the label claim, to be exact–which also puts it in violation of federal law.”

Your vet is probably purchasing drugs from a reputable distributor or pharmacy. When you buy from these unregulated websites, you could be getting anything. And you could be paying for something that you are not getting.
