Hufglocken Shipping

Horsey life has been so frustrating lately. Baby horse is a PITA and I know it is a mix of something not quite to her liking (maybe/probably needs shoes, saddle fit changing every week, is on ulcer support, she’s very sensitive) and me being too tired and too chicken lately to insist on forward and straight. I’m trying to hold off for the sake of my wallet on sending her to a trainer friend. I don’t have an indoor but trying to take advantage of everything until it’s too gross and cold to ride outside, so my rationale is to wait until winter to send her to trainer friend for a month or so.

For some reason waiting on a couple of things I ordered from Hufglocken is really grating my last horsey nerve. I’m being so patient with everything else, why can’t my stuff just arrive? I’ve ordered stuff from them before but can’t remember how long it took to arrive once it shipped. My latest package has shipped, at least. They don’t do tracking and I can’t imagine contacting them now will help at all. How long have your orders taken to arrive once they shipped?

2 weeks to 2 months. Good luck

Yeah, it’s all over the place. You definitely can’t be in a rush

They changed their free shipping from tracked air to ground/sea and I will likely pay for shipping for any future orders. My last one took almost four months and they had an issue somewhere en route and it went back to them before being re-shipped to me.

I guess I feel better now? I ordered a pad from Hufglocken Aus on their 30% off sale, but specifically chose an in stock one that claimed it shipped much faster. Little did I know the shipping was the slow part… I ordered on Aug 10th and the last time my tracking updated as “item processed at facility” was Sept 29th. I thought I was just supremely unlucky.

One of my orders took over 2 months and most of it was sitting in customs on the west coast!

My recent order was placed Aug 3 (custom pad)…so almost 3 months and it’s not yet shipped. Other orders have been about 2 months. Except the one that got sent back by customs and had to be resent.

Lordy, lots of customs issues. IME shoddy packaging and vague codes make customs nervous (vendor issues), but it’s shipping to a private address that makes them extra twitchy. Maybe try shipping to your place of work

Haven’t ordered from them in 2 years, however, I did buy 4 pads from them and each time the production/shipping time was pretty consistent - 2.5 to 3 months, every time. I just planned accordingly. :grimacing:

Ugh, maybe it is customs issues. I can’t really say it’s Hufglocken’s fault beyond taking ~1 month just to ship it. It is on the way, but they don’t do tracking.

My new boots which were custom ordered in Europe are also taking forever to arrive (longer than usual). I’m beginning to think they forgot about me. I messaged the middleman company on FB and they haven’t replied. :sob:

I’m confused by folks saying they don’t do tracking–I’ve ordered from Hufglocken twice, once a fully custom pad and the most recent one was in stock from one of their sales. Both times I got a tracking number??? And while it took awhile for both to ship, they arrived fairly quickly once shipped. The first shipment of my most recent order did get lost in Aus, never made it to their customs, so they had to remake the pads and mailed them out about 10 days ago. The replacement set is out for delivery today. I’m in California. I don’t think I ordered any special shipping to get tracking?

In addition, they’ve always been super responsive to my emails, within about 24 hours on business days. It might be worth shooting them an email just in case.

I don’t know. I had a free shipping coupon and had to then select a checkbox that said “Free shipping (no tracking)” which I selected because international shipping rates are astronomical and almost negate the deal you get from not buying in the US. So it’s probably all my fault. I got a notification with a tracking number but if I track the package it just says tracking info isn’t available.

I don’t know if emailing them would help in this case. They already shipped it so it’s out of their hands now.

Hmm, I don’t think I’ve ever paid for shipping, either, because agreed the postage prices are nuts. Yep, just checked my orders and both were free shipping. I vaguely remember the no tracking box, but it doesn’t seem to have been the case. It’s possible I’m misremembering, though.

Was the tracking number two letters, a bunch of numbers, followed by “AU”? How long ago did it ship out? Sorry, not trying to grill you, just want to see if there’s any way I can help. I know I waited about three weeks for the tracking to work on the order that wound up lost, and every time I checked it just said “Pending” and to try checking again in 24 hours. After a couple weeks I emailed them asking if it had shipped out, they were super responsive, reached out to Aus Post, determined it was lost, and graciously offered to remake and ship out a new set. To boot, I totally missed their email from early October that it was ready and asking to confirm my address and I didn’t respond until the 27th. They got it out the next day or the day after.

I totally understand the frustration especially with everything going on and not wanting to deal with just one. more. thing. There’s no easy fix for the complicated hard stuff so our brains focus on something smaller that feels more achievable to be frustrated by. But the worst thing that can happen from an email is that you’re left in the same position (waiting), and they might even be able to help!

Yes, through the Australian Post. It shipped out almost a month ago. I think the last time I ordered something from them it arrived in about a week, but that was a while ago.

I’ll send them a Facebook message. What a freaking pain. Did they at least offer you faster shipping with tracking after they remade it? Thankfully I shouldn’t need anymore half pads anytime soon.

Yeah, I suspect it got lost unfortunately. It’s a pain but they were super quick to rectify it, I hope it’s one they still have in stock so you don’t have to wait longer.

It was the same shipping as all the others with the same type of tracking number that worked for me. I just checked my current tracking number, it was accepted by Aus Post Oct 27th, and is out for delivery today. Happy to send you a PM with the two tracking numbers (the busted one and the working one) if you want to look and compare them to yours.

If you do the “contact us” on their website they are very quick to respond. I had to do that once when an order got bounced in customs and sent me a tracking notice that it was ready for pickup (in Australia). And I contacted them a few days ago for my Aug. 3 order since we are past the 12 weeks and it’s not even shipped. Both times they have been very responsive on email!

I reached out to them on Facebook and they said theyd look into it. Still no update. I’ve asked twice since. At this point I feel like the appropriate customer service response is to offer to send me my stuff again and express it with tracking. Is this unreasonable? This is way too long to wait for items that were already in stock. Is the Australian post office just dysfunctional?

I had reached out to them about my Aug. 3 order…got an email they would look into it…then about a week later got a follow up email that it was in production. So it seems like they are really far behind with the orders. I was fine with it taking a long time (I realize that’s the benefit of getting it for that price)…I just needed to know that the order hadn’t been lost or overlooked.

I think you’re right on both counts @blue_heron. Turns out the in stock pad that I ordered Aug 10th was returned to sender according to AU post. I emailed Hufglocken to say that and they said they were able to locate it and would be in touch tomorrow with express tracking once they re-send it.

I have been in contact with support@Hufglocken.com

Have you had any luck getting your order? My Aug 3rd order still has not even shipped…they told me on Nov. 15 that it was in production and expected to ship in 3 weeks. Um…clearly that hasn’t happened.

I emailed them again yesterday for an update…as next week will be 5 months.

Just FYI as I looked on the website
“Please note we are out of office til the 8th of Jan - Warehouse is shipping daily :sparkles:

I was going to shoot them an email about mine, but figured it would be pointless until 1/8… But if you hear something, update us & I’ll shoot an email about my order. But your status isn’t boding well for my order placed after yours.
