I have a TB mare which I am selling and wanted to market to the hunting groups.
She has competed in several hunter paces and a mock fox hunt. Enjoys trails. She would be a green prospect.
I am selling her due to the fact she is a wee strong for my middle aged 50 year old self, but someone younger would enjoy her enthusiasm.
Besides COTH classifieds, where does one market a prospect for sale?
Hunt Horses for Sale on Facebook groups. I’d try to get her to at least a couple of hunts so she can claim some experience. “Prospects” are a dime a dozen.
Everything is a “prospect” until they actually step foot into the hunt field. Do you have a field hunter or a staff horse? I second actually getting her into a REAL fox hunt, not a mock. You will be surprised on how good or how bad it can go.
I only know this as the person who tested out all the new hunt horses for RRH.
