Looking for a bit of advice; I am thinking of taking my horse to an upcoming hunt run; I think the idea is that it’s a little more relaxed than a full hunt, and open to non-hunt members. My horse is confident and relatively experienced xc (has done a few hunter trials as lead horse, good with water/coffins etc, schooled a good bit cross country), but I’m unsure how he will be in a big group of horses; he can be bit spooky but generally has good brakes and isn’t particularly hot.
Has anyone any tips in relation to bringing a horse out in this sort of situation for the first time? It is a short enough run I think and he is fairly fit.
