Hunter/jumper barns near Auburn, Alabama

Hello everyone!
I’m considering attending Auburn University next fall and will be taking my horse with me. I am currently searching for hunter/jumper barns near the area. I currently show in the low children’s jumpers and would be willing to commute up to an hour! If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know! Thanks so much!!!

See where their IHSA team and/or NCEA ride.

Auburn owns their own farm, and IIRC it does not accept boarders. It is for their horses and the team programs only. OP there’s a really old (10+ years) thread in off course if you search the forum but….thats quite dated! Maybe the riding program has recommendations if you inquire.

There was a pretty big shift in the boarding facilities about 10 years ago around that time (trainers moving facilities/barns) so I doubt the thread is accurate. I can’t speak to the area now since I’ve been gone for about 7 years.

Echoing that the Auburn team does not have boarders, but I know there was a nice private farm (can’t remember the name) nearby where a lot of the team kept personal horses.

I went to auburn, but I was an eventer. There are alot of more eventing types barns around Auburn, which may interest you. I can list the information I have below, but also reaching out to the Auburn Eventing Team maybe helpful! I know its eventing, but they have a list of the barns in the area. The ISHA team & NCAA teams keep their horses at the equestrian center, which does not have boarders, but the HJ girls ride on those teams. Also their is an a facebook group where you could ask - " [Auburn, AL Horse People" (https://www.facebook.com/groups/370802033108389/)

Silver Lining Equestrian/Stephanie Counts
Bright Farms
VTR Sporthorses/Vanessa Rundquist
Lindsey Lanier has a private barn that alot of the eventing team girls board at
Laurel Brook Farm/Laurel Massey
Jennamere Farm (maybe more HJ focused?)

These are the barns I am currently still aware of since my time at auburn. Trimac & H&G are no longer in business (which where both HJ focused while I was at Auburn).
