Portland, Oregon metro folks—Recommendations for solid, safe, correct hunter jumper lesson program for my 12-year-old daughter? She’s intermediate general rider new to jumping. Will need a lesson horse. Doesn’t care about competing at the moment.
We live in Oregon City near Portland.
Without a doubt, Quiet Rein in Oregon City! Beginning lessons with the Riding School, or more advanced with the regular program, winning IEA team (middle and high school teams are headed to Nationals next week!), local and A shows, lease horses available, too. Kind, professional trainers who emphasize solid basics, equitation, horse care, horsemanship, and safety. Highly, highly recommend. And no drama, at all. The kids who ride are so nice, too!
