I will try my best to be there on Sunday. I’m feeling much better…still coughing some, but as long as I don’t go sprinting off after the hounds, I’ll probably be OK. It’ll be a good chance for me to test out my new Under Armour, too.

Okay people, you’re making me JEALOUS!!! Of course, I have 75 degree weather out here without a snowflake in sight, so I guess I can take consolation in that. :lol: And I did see two rabbits when I hacked out yesterday. Now if I could just find a bassett or two to borrow I’d be set…

Just have to say that Sunday was insanely fun! While the hunt was cancelled due to weather, JSwan invited me over to the kennel when they walked the bassets. Lovely people, lovely hounds, and fantastic scenery. I think I’ve got the bug!:lol:

Yes, I’m definitely feeling MUCH better, thank you! Even feeling good enough to be starting a Zumba dance class tonight (God help me). A friend of mine might be coming up here from Huntsville this weekend, so I need to figure out his schedule in order to decide which day I can go hunting. I’ll keep you posted as I’ll need directions and all that good stuff. So excited!

A kind of hunt I can do
Now that looks like the kind of hunt that I could participate in. With a lame horse and a somewhat lame rider, I don’t think foxhunting is in my future but I could sure do this! Are there any groups in Mass. that go bassetting?
