Hunting in Chester county PA

I’ve done some fox hunting in the past and am thinking of getting into it regularly and would like to find out more about the hunts in my area. Last I heard Cheshire was one where you either have to be a landowner or pay a very high fee to join.

Besides Radnor, who else hunts in and around that area?

I looked up the MFHA list for PA and these three hunts all have territories in Chester Co.

Andrews Bridge Foxhounds

Kimberton Hunt Club

River Hills Foxhounds

Good luck!

If you are interested in unrecognized there are a few of those too.
Bellwood Hunt Club which has essentially merged with Gable
Warwick Village Hounds

They are northern CC. No real jumping and the country is a bit trappy but they are fun groups.

I think there another unrecognized near West Chester- Brandywine maybe?

West Bradford hunts on the ChesLen. They are pretty small. I use to hunt with them pretty regularly but haven’t much the last couple of years just due to lots of conflicts. But PM me if you want to go. Not much jumping but very pretty countryside!
