I found the holy grail of wide paddock boots!

I have worn C-width shoes since I was a little kid, and now I have bunions, so it’s a huge challenge to find footwear that fits. Over the years, I’ve read the COTH threads about wide paddock boots and have tried several. The last few years I’ve worn either Ariat Heritage (C width), or TuffRider Starter Front Zip (wide), which are not wide enough, but were the best I could find.

Until now! Found these at Boot Barn online! They’re super wide and roomy in the front, easy on and off, have super firm, thick, waterproof soles, and have a heel. Sliding the half chaps elastic under them is a bit of a challenge but it’s worth it. They may not be for everyone, but I’m thrilled with them.

and they’re cute!! I need a pair, my right foot has a bunion from crushed toes over the years and I too struggle to find comfortable boots! Off to purchase a pair!

Sweet! My feet are a mess. I have been riding in sneakers. I just can’t walk in most of the boots I have. They just pressure the wrong spots (surgery on both feet). These look promising as in wide enough. I might have to switch the footbeds but if they start out wide enough that helps a lot. Thanks for posting.

Also Boot Barn are men’s Justin Drennan lace up ropers, that come in EEE width. Unfortunately they don’t come in the same fun colors as the women’s version (McKean)
