I have a little lost dog - Owner signed her over to neighbors

OMG!

I am not a fan of little dogs in general, BUT if I had that face looking up at me all day, I would get NOTHING done and just insert cookies and food into that cute face. So freaking cute.

Dogs can slip out of collars and get out of fenced yards or slip out the door when people are pet sitting.

Could belong to an elderly person who is looking and doesn’t have all the technology like you do to find her. Just keep trying.

Cairn-Griffon mix? She’s darling.

Somehow, her family was located. The dog belonged to their grand daughter. Someone let her go.

They didn’t want her and they brought all of her things and her vet records over to my neighbors, who will be keeping her.

This just couldn’t have turned out better. She has already become fast friends with their 4lb yorkie.

This one reminds me of an Affenpinscher!

That’s awesome, love a happy ending.

If I ever have throw away money I would try a DNA test on her, see if she is confirmed canine or not

Maybe I’ll start a fundraiser to solve the mystery.

That is truly a face only a mother could love @KBC :joy:

Or could be a beige Brussels Griffon. Does she have an undershot jaw?

Oh yes

Do have to admit that the groomer managed to make her look more dog like!

On purpose?
If so, Asshats

But glad to hear your good update/happy ending :grinning:
If she has a name, maybe consider changing it to erase that chapter of her life.

Agree on the name.

A former roommate said that she didn’t think her new cat (from an abusive situation) would appreciate it if she gave him a new name. My response: whenever she said his name it reminded him of those nasty people yelling it at him (the cat) to try to hurt him. Didn’t she think he would like to have a different word, one that was special to just the two of them?
