Tiffany!, if you are serious and want to pursue this, I would say that you should try to contact the program itself. Just google “para olympics”, and the website is the first one listed. There is a direct link on their website to a CP organization. Maybe they would be of help. It is certainly worth asking if this is truly a dream of yours!
Tiff, I have a feeling that a diagnosis of “mild CP” might still qualify you to participate. Para equestrians have different “grades”, which are based on the severity of their physical challenges.
If you are seriously considering pursuing this, you might want to do as others have suggested and research this yourself, as opposed to asking your trainer who, as far as I know, does not have specialized knowledge in this area.
