It’s lovely! I follow a you tuber in MD who traded up to a home in that sort of condition. The pool especially, she got two episodes out of renewing the liner. Underground pool but has sand and a liner rather than cement or fiberglass. Quite gross. The place is much improved, v glad you were able to stick it through!

I thought ours was vinyl liner initially based on something the realtor said, but it is actually fiberglass. Good news is apart from some staining and some minor mechanical stuff, it’s in good shape. Bad thing about fiberglass is draining the water from it is a no go. Luckily about 20lbs of pool shock and 3 weeks of netting and vacuuming sludge out did the trick.
It’s been SO nice. I refuse to feel guilty about using it while my husband slaves away weed whacking some obscure corner of the pasture or moving dirt from point a to point b or doing some other unnecessary task that he has deemed absolutely imperative.
