I like men's underwear.......

I for the life of me can’t find comfortable underwear to ride in. Thong’s…well, enough said. Boy cut underwear roll up and are worse than regular underwear. I have long admired the men’s athletic boxer so at Costco today, I got my self a 3 pack of one’s similar to these: http://www.nylingerie.com/champion-mens-performance-stretch-long-boxer-brief.html Lord have mercy! They are so comfy! I put them on under my breeches and despite a slight “crotch seam” showing, they were the bomb! I don’t see anything comparable in women’s. Any other men’s underwear wearers??!

Back in the 70’s I had trouble with women’s elastic banded underwear. The guys had great all cotton, cotton banded ones! So I wore my husband’s. That made everyone at the barn snicker when someone got their yayas about it. Darn I should have money from that idea since then they came out with women’s Jockey brand underwear.

I just saw these Smarty pants the other day https://www.horseloverz.com/brand/63486-smarty-pants.html?trk_msg=8K8K7A51LJ5KVFOTI2GQEV6OB8&trk_contact=8L8S62VQUQ5VK8LDMB08D8A6CC&utm_source=Listrak&utm_medium=Email&utm_term=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.horseloverz.com%2Fbrand%2F63486-smarty-pants.html&utm_campaign=Smarty+Pants+for+ALL+Active+Women!&utm_content=+All+styles+under+%2425+%2B+FREE+SHIPPING+on+all+Smarty+Pants+Purchases+

expensive tho.

Mine were 3 for $12.99 with a wide, soft elastic waist. I’m going back for 6 more pair. I hope I’m never in a car wreck!

Many trainers and those in the rodeo world, some women prefer the less scratchy men’s underwear and some men wear hose to keep their legs from getting burned.

Whatever works when you ride, that is what makes most sense.

I wear those when I ride! I have found they are the only underwear I can wear and not chafe on long rides.

I prefer Hane’s boxer briefs, I like the shorter in length ones and then no ‘panty line’ when wearing breeches. So much more comfortable than panties! Been wearing them for years.

Ha - your post is so timely for me, Cindy! I was just looking in WalMart the day before yesterday hoping to find ladies underwear that length. No luck. Looks like I’ll have to stroll over to the men’s section myself. What a good idea! I’m so sick of my regular underwear riding up my butt!

Costco up my way no longer carries the Champion boxer briefs, which makes me sad because they are my FAVOURITE underpants! The Kirkland ones are a close second, and being slightly longer, they work well for me for under baggier crotched pants because they prevent chafing.

Suggestion to ladies: look for boxer briefs with the canoe slot rather than a slotless pouch. The slotless pouch tends to bunch and chafe when you don’t have the goods to fill it, whereas the slotted front boxer briefs fit better in the crotch for the canoeless wearers.

I will never wear anything but boxer briefs again!

You will never go back! I did have to tell the BF why there would be men’s underwear in the laundry that wasn’t his!

Those are the ones I got. I have a slight visible seam from the fly in the front but the comfort is unreal! I can’t believe they don’t have a comparable in womens. With the nice wide waistband and all.

I find the fly seam to be a nonissue, but seams in briefs (tightie whities, haha) are not okay according to the sensitive skin in that area. The fly seam sits just high enough that tit doesn’t pinch between crotch and saddle (at least on my shape)

Oh, and I suggest avoiding Fruit of the Loom boxer briefs for use under clothes. They fit much looser, have thicker seams, and the ribbed cotton material catches on pants and tends to pull them down under your pants… I love them for sleeping in because they are loose without baring all like regular boxers do, but cannot wear them under anything.

 Ya I suppose that could cause a wee point of consternation if other men’s underwear showed up in the laundry basket that weren’t his! Oh Luuuucy - you got some esplainin’ to do! Too funny!

Add me in to raiding hubby’s briefs when trail riding  He even is trained to put the light blue ones aside for me!

I’m sensing a business opportunity here.

LMAO at “canoe slot”!

Agreed with you… I also like Hane’s boxer briefs, Hanes boxer comfortable than panties! Dyed/Prints X-Temp Performance Poly Boxer Brief Bonus this one is my favorite Hane’s Boxer at https://www.apparelshopusa.com

I like the “boy short” ones in womens but wish they came in cotton instead of just nylon. I have found some that are longer but it takes some looking.

LOL my husband has developed an expensive underwear habit, but when I saw him in them, I told him to buy as many as he wants!
