Having had a couple of rides since then I can confirm his canter is a dream…it takes a bit of getting used to because it is so animated, but so much more comfortable than his trot. OK, not fair, now I am more used to him, the trot is great as well, just so BIG.

I just saw a Barock Pinto?.. apparently Friesian and Pinto crosses bred for a few generations? Gorgeous horse… looked like a colored Friesian to me.

Could that have been some kind of cob cross, Gypsy type?
Paint or QH x Friesian (or Saddlebred) is a surprisingly nice cross. It sounds like it should be a hot mess, but it isn’t.
