As long as you’re posting in response to a genuine query, and your stallion is generally a match for the request, it’s fine to suggest him. It’s when he suddenly becomes the perfect fit for EVERY mare, and his full resume is popping up in every post, that it starts to be a problem. The OP’s inquiry in this case was very general, as it could pertain to two different mares, so you’re fine.
