Wow, what a smart group we are!! Interesting how there are so many HR folks, nurses, and LAWYERS on this board! Of course, that emphasis means that I am one too.
Specifically, I work in litigation; more specifically, patent litigation; and even more specifically, biotech and pharmaceutical patent litigation! What does all that mean? It means (for the uninitiated) that I am so heavily involved in my speciality that you cannot ask me any questions on general law topics because I have forgotten everything taught in law school!
Okay, so it’s not quite that bad but close!
In any event, I am 31 and married to the MOST wonderful man, Mr. Serendipity, who not only provides moral support for my horsie habit but encourages it. Together we have NINE children; all of the furry, four-legged variety. 3 horses, 1 dog, and 5 cats.
I grew up in NY and have been riding in this area since I was little (except for a brief time while I lived in the midwest). I can’t remember time when I didn’t want to be near horses. I started out doing the eq and hunters, moved over to the jumpers and eventually found my niche, eventing. Now, when I’m not at work (which unfortunately isn’t often enough), I spend most of my time working with my two project eventer TBs. Our third horse is presently leased by a wonderful family who lavish her with love and carrots interrupted by the occasional ride around the ring.
Nice to meet you all!
