I think the Search function is broken.

I tried to use the search function to see if a thread had already been posted about a question I have, which is probably a fairly common question. However, no results came up. So I broadened my search but still had no results. Then I tried some very generic words like ‘horse’ and ‘ride’ and ‘coat’, and the search ONLY returned results from the past month, EVEN if I set the time period to be “the past year”.

Search isn’t very useful if it only searches the current month’s posts! Does anyone else have this problem?

Try setting it to “any date”. That worked for me.

Something strange has been going on with the search function recently, and it’s in the queue for the tech guys to address…hopefully soon!

In the meantime, you can also use Google to search our (or any) site. Using their advanced search feature, you can search within our site.

Go to: http://www.google.com/advanced_search
Enter your search terms at the top, then enter our web address (chronofhorse.com/forum) at the bottom, under “search within a site or domain.”

We’ll post this info as an announcement until we can get things sorted out on our end.
