I’m looking for an alternative to the game ready ice compression boots, or for a used Game Ready machine (human or equine). My budget is $1500 for the machine. As an alternative, what are your recommendations for other full leg ice boots? I don’t like ice horse or ice vibe. Thanks:D
I have the Equifit ones that you pump up for compression. They are ok, if your horse doesn’t try to rip out the valve for the pump.
Do you want compression or the circulation like for Game Ready? I think Jack’s whirlpool boots are more similar to Game Ready than static ice boots.
Are you watching ebay and search tempest for used machines? $1500 is going to be tricky, but might be doable as long as you have more $$ for wraps.
I saw this first gen machine on ebay yesterday: http://www.ebay.com/itm/GAME-READY-THERAPY-GR1-THERAPY-MACHINE-/331880959554?
Do the horse wraps have to be ATX? I don’t think the latest gen wraps work with the first gen machines, but maybe I’m mistaken.
No I’m not interested in a 1st generation Game Ready because I’d be too afraid it’d break or that the parts would be hard to find. A game ready for humans that’s not 1st generation would work for me too if I could find one in my budget. I’m looking for one under $1500, not including wraps or tubes etc
Aren’t the Jacks whirlpool boots made to have the water touch the skin? If so, I’m looking for something that won’t get his skin really wet.
Although, with the Jacks whirlpool boots I’m really more concerned about immersing his feet in the water for such a period of time.
Here you go:

You can even make a couple hundred bucks by selling that left hip wrap.
Or this one:

Or this one:

Did you look at ebay before you posted? There are a whole lotta them out there right now.
Use Search Tempest to search all craigslist sites if nothing above will work for whatever reason.
Yeah, I saw those ones on eBay but was hoping someone had an idea for a less expensive alternative  So I don’t have to pay that much for something off of eBay with no returns allowed…
There’s nothing like a Game Ready.
Look into the Donjoy Iceman or the Breg Kodiak if you don’t need compression.

Could you put I.V. bags over his feet before they go in the Jack’s?
I think Smart Pak rents the Game Ready machines, how long do you need to use it?
Hi!

Can you PM me a link? The pumps are ok, but at least one valve has been well-chewed. Thanks!
