Is there anyway to do this without buying a specialized ice wrap? I hate cold hosing!

Hold an ice pack on it by hand.
Well, I was hoping to find a way to hold it on sans me. I tried an ace bandage but that didn’t work.
Hmm I don’t know if it would work with the stifle, but instead of buying a special bandage to use on my sister’s mare’s hocks when they were swollen and puffy last year, I just put the icepack on it and wrapped it with a polowrap. It would stay for 5-10 minutes (which should be all you need) as long as the horse doesn’t jig around a lot. So you can try that and see if it works.
