Our Dtiving Club president has decided - after nearly 40yrs - he won’t be showing at Fair this year.
I had the idea of “retiring” him with a plaque & some sort of blanket of roses, like a Derby Winner, or sash, like Fair Queen/King.
Any ideas welcomed for:
*wording on a plaque
&
*ideas for an “award”
like getting hims an embroidered throw?
And a big rosette?

Thanks, but a few texts later & I’m reminded how organizing anything with this club is like herding cats!
Three of us who have shown with him are going in for a small plaque.
This avoids the possibility of butthurt for anyone
