A horsey friend of mine is getting married. A bunch of us got together and rented our local riding club indoor arena for this Sat, we are going to throw her a bachelorette/horsey playday party. Anybody have any suggestions on fun games/activities we can do with our horses? We are definitely going to do a scavenger hunt trail ride (any suggestions on fun things to include on the scavenger hunt?), probably some sort of a trivia/obstacle course (with questions about bride/groom), ride-a-buck (except with condom packets instead of dollar bills. Winner gets to keep all the condoms…), and a ‘sexiest outfit’ contest. Anybody have any ideas?
No ideas, but can I come too?? Sounds like fun!!!
Not sure where about’s you are, but when we had a horse play date, we included a sleepover in the barn that way once the ponies were tucked away, and we started the drinking, none of us had to drive anywhere
We slapped down some sleeping bags on hay bales right in the aisle way it was a blast!
Broom polo
Ponyonia - sure, the more the merrier! It WILL be fun, I think the guest of honor is actually looking more forward to the party then the actual wedding!
Unfortunately, we are only renting the facility we are ‘partying’ at for the day, so no sleepovers. That WOULD be fun though! Broom polo could be interesting, although sounds a bit dangerous? Can broom polo be played at the walk?
You can do Chinese Whispers.

On horseback! Great idea, thanks!
A man on a white horse.
OMG that is hilarious
You are going to need saints of horses, but what about dividing into teams and dressing one horse as the bride, in toilet paper?

Can you elaborate more? Why teams? What do we do after dressing him up?
Sorry, there is an old shower game of dividing in to teams, then dressing one person on each team as the bride, using nothing but toilet paper to make the dress, bouquet, veil, etc. Then each bride parades in a fashion show and everybody judges!
I remember doing the TP game at one shower. I was about 16 and selected as the model. My team had about 3 seamstresses on it. My TP dress was FAB. Seriously I wanted to keep it! Strapless and pleated.
We did a race/game at pony camp last year that might be adapted: divide into teams of partners, both at the same end of the ring, but one mounted and one on foot. Mounted partner rides to the other end, dismounts and puts on a waiting set of clothes over their regular clothes. Jog the horse back in hand to partner and give them clothes to put on. Partner then jogs down, undresses, mounts & rides back.
You guys could maybe use a veil, garter, ring, etc. Just an idea.
The TP dress idea is great! I better get a lot of TP for dressing up a whole horse though!
I love the race idea too! This is going to be so much fun, thanks for all the ideas!
