It looks a lot like the oval Crosby England stamp, and the bottom line does read “England”, but I can’t make out the top (and it doesn’t look like “Crosby”, “Campbell”, or any other name I could think of that uses an oval stamp). I can barely make out any of the letters, but I’m fairly certain the last two are OW or ON. I’ve tried doing a pencil rub, but nothing really showed up. Has anyone seen a stamp like this or by any chance know what it is? These are absolutely lovely reins and I’d love to find more if possible!

not much help here but I think the 2nd and 3rd letters look like AN. Are the reins fairly new and where did you get them? They look like h/j reins (do i see braiding?). If so, might want to cross post over there.

Sanbow or Banbow would be my first guesses but I’ve never heard of either. But if the reins are 20+ years old the company may be long gone.

I bought them with a used bridle recently and think they’re probably on the older side. Yes, they are laced H/J reins and I’ll try posting over there too!
