Just tuned in to the schooling session. OMG. I know the horses need to be quiet for the beginner riders, but, yanking on their mouth, spinning in circles, pulling their heads around to the stirrups, really??

I saw the same thing and was appalled. The huntseat warm-up riders and participants are watched every second of the horses schooling and warmup rounds and would be pulled off or disqualified in a second by the steward for yanking, pulling, and circling horses like that. I don’t understand the discrepancy between the two. Very disappointing, terrible horsemanship.
