I am so sorry, @Railbird. But what a lovely life you gave him for the last several months. I’m so glad you were there to rescue him, advocate for him and give him the final gift of freedom from pain.

PS - Hell isn’t hot enough for the person who let him get in this condition in the first place.

Oh, Godspeed, sweet Poofy. I am so glad you got to know love, care and even a bit of (leadline) glory again before the end. We loved you from afar, darling boy, and will hold you in our hearts.

@Railbird, my deepest condolences, hugs, prayers and thanks for doing everything that was best for such a special boy. We love you, too.

So sorry to hear of this loss. He was looking great before the injury and I’d hoped he would recover. You did the best for him. I’m so glad there are people like you in this world.

Just wanted to add, @Railbird, what an amazing example you are setting for your son. It has been hard and now painful, but he will know the value of kindness and love. And he will know he got to be a part of giving Poofy some of his dignity back at the end, too. Bless you.
